RFQ Details

Goal We are looking for a supplier who could supply 100 tons of Copper scrap every month. The supplier should be price-competitive, consistent, predictable and reasonable as we have a big customer we have supplied 100 tons/month for years and they want more scrap from us. We expect to supply even more to other customers.If you want to open business, this is a process you'll go through 1. Please send me email confirming your product meets requirements below with your contact point(name, address of office or plant, office phone number, fax number, email address if available) 2. All or some of you may be requested to send me samples to me so that we can run test to check requirements are fulfilled. 3. The chosen supplier would be requested to submit your quote and we will provide you target price before that. 4. Any supplier who could meet our expectation will work with us. Requirement for product level, type, degree of purity 1. Product levelProduct type is based on definition in Scrap Specifications Circular published by ISRI(Institue of Scrap Recycling Inc.). We want Barley or Berry. A. Barley - No. 1 Copper WireShall consiste of No.1 bare, uncoated, unalloyed copper wire, not smaller than No.16 B&S wire gauge. Green copper wire and hydraulically compacted material to be subject to agreement between buyer and seller B. Berry - No.1 Copper WireShall consist of clean, untinned, uncoated, unalloyed copper wire and cable, not smaller than No. 16 B&S wire gauge, free of burnt wire which is brittle. Hydraulically briquetted copper subject to agreement2. Product typeCurrently we are looking for chopped one this year but we believe we could buy just wire or cable from next yearA. The scarp should be chopped as shown in the picture uploaded untill end of 2010 or early 2011.B. Cable or wire type since end of 2010 or early 2011.3. Degree of purityMore than 99.95%
